Our current context is marked by digital technology, however sometimes we tend to use it as something “cool” or fashion or event just to be part of these broad concepts. I have seen and meet people that decide to use “X” tool just to fit in or be part of the IoT / Digital Transformation. I think that every decision we make must be a critical one, not one just to follow the stream. Each tool we use should improve the work and help ut to achieve our objectives understanding its value and limitations. If we decide to use a database, Padlet or Voyant Tools is because it will have an effect and not because it is trendy.

In couple of years teaching at Highschool I have seen couple of teachers using “apps” just because is part of the trend, Kahoot and Padlet are couple of favorites among the teachers, however they think that that’s what students will like to see, they are not applying with a particular objective/goal or idea compelling to the scenario.
