How inclusive this tool is with the different communities around the world?

Assuming that the world is a diverse place (and that we should embrace it) and marked by different biases, having a tool that could relate and adjust for a wide variety of people. Different background, contexts, geographical location, ages, language, etc., could be a barrier to understanding or applying DH tools. We must be aware of this diversity and try to use tools that reflect and include different communities, learning styles, visual disabilities, multiplatform, budgets, etc. This also resembles W3C Accessibility.

Examples

IOS ecosystem

Apple products due to their price (specially around the world) could be a bias and in certain ways an anti inclusive platform. Some academic apps such as Textal, Explain Everything, etc are “attached” to the IOS System.

Inclusion

Some opposite examples could be Voyant Tools, that include multiple languages to work with or Web Captioner that caption sounds into text and can help hearing-impaired people.
