- How easy and effective is this collaboration?
- How easily can this collaboration be managed (e.g. is someone “in charge”?)
- Are particular tools (e.g. Github) necessary?
- What level of permissions are necessary and is this reasonable to ask this of potential collaborators (including students)?

https://github.com/ (now with copilot X!) is a longstanding, industry standard tool for collaboration. Entry-level tools include the suite of Google products (Google docs, Google sheets, etc), which allow for simultaneous collaboration in various ways.
